Reading Update

Third Grade Third grade students are putting their research for On the Day You Were Born into slide shows. They are continuing to use student links on the website to find information via the internet. There is no extra homework if they have finished their questions and used the interview questions for interviewing their parents or grandparents for some information. They may want to bring a newborn/baby picture in to add to their project. Fourth Grade Fourth graders have finished reading My Daniel by Pam Conrad. They are working on flow and bubble maps for this book. We will work on them again on Wednesday in class. Fifth Grade Fifth graders are reading Shackleton's Stowaway by Victoria MCKernan. They are to read to page 194. If they choose to read farther, they will need to write a paragraph about every 60 pages. There will be a total of 5 text-to-self, text, or world connection paragraphs for the book.
